Let the Beyoncé -Mania Begin

Let the Beyoncé -Mania Begin

For anyone who hasn't been hiding under a rock this past week, it's fairly evident that King Bey is back.

After taking a break to start a family with her music mogul hubby Jay Z and experience 'real life' (see 'Year of 4'), our beloved Houston-bred Pop powerhouse has already come out swinging in 2013. Slated to perform at the upcoming Super Bowl half-time show and sing the National Anthem at President Barack Obama's Inauguration, fans can rest assured that this year will mark Beyoncé's phenomenal return. Did I mention the rumored album and yet another documentary?

The question has turned from 'if' to 'when' when it concerns Beyoncé's return to music. Her latest racy photo spread for GQ Magazine has again sparked the inescapable comparisons between the superstar and her current competition. But, will Sasha Fierce truly 'take it to another level', no passengers on her plane?

A few R&B ladies would like to give Beyoncé a run for her money. But, it's going to take a great deal of dollars and 'sense' (no pun intended) to rival one half of Forbes' richest celebrity couple of 2012. Not to mention the fact that she is Pepsi's new $50 million dollar woman.

At this point, mystery looms. Will we finally get to see Blue Ivy's face? What will the new solo album sound like? Is there a Destiny's Child reunion in the works? Those are just a few questions on the minds of Beyoncé's biggest fans. 2013 is sure to close a few of these loopholes, and many are excited to see what's in store that even the most diehard followers have not yet conjured in their minds. Judging from what we've already witnessed, Beyoncé is sure not to disappoint. For now, fans will have to wait in eager anticipation. This anticipation is sure to expand in the coming weeks. Let the Beyoncé- mania begin!
