FRONTPAGE Detroit joins 'KICK-OFF FOR A CAUSE' TO SUPPORT RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE OF DETROIT
With the holiday season underway, entrepreneurs and sports enthusiasts Sandra Ware and Erica Banks will team up to host their second installment of "Kick-off for a Cause" on Monday, December 3 from 5:30 p.m.-midnight at the Roberts Riverwalk Hotel, 1000 River Place in Detroit. The event, benefiting the Ronald McDonald House of Detroit (RMHD), will bring together philanthropists and football fans for the ultimate Monday Night Football viewing experience, networking, giveaways, and more.
Hundreds of metro Detroiters are expected to attend the fundraiser to watch the Washington Redskins take on the New York Giants. Guests are encouraged to bring a new toy (all ages) or non-perishable food items to directly benefit the families of RMHD.
"I am so pleased that the Ronald McDonald House of Detroit is the beneficiary of Kick Off for a Cause! During the holiday season, organizations really pull through for the families at the House by securing much needed food, toys and house supplies. During the first quarter of the year, we don't get as many donations, so we are very lucky to get stocked up now, so that we may have food/supplies into the New Year," said Jennifer Litomisky, executive director, Ronald McDonald House of Detroit.
Kick-off for a Cause is a monthly social series benefiting charitable organizations in Detroit. Partners include: Roberts Riverwalk Hotel, Ambassador Magazine, FRONTPAGE Detroit, TR3 Studios, StreetVision.com, and Plush Apparel.
Tickets for the event are $15 or $10 with a donation of a new toy or non-perishable food item. Game time is 8:30 p.m. A complimentary tailgate buffet takes place from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
